Midwest Search Dogs is a state and federal tax-exempt
not-for-profit corporation under 501(c)(3) of the federal tax code.
Donations and grants to us are usually tax deductible (check
with your tax advisor to be sure).
Midwest Search dogs does not accept
donations of dogs. Midwest Search Dogs
does not conduct searches for lost or missing
pets.
Midwest Search dogs has no paid employees and does not
contract with professional fundraisers, therefore the team
utilizes 100% of donated funds received.
Midwest Search dogs maintains a general fund. The
General Fund is used for the administrative operations of the team.
Such operating costs include necessary business items
as insurance bills, postage, boat fees, and radio
repair. This fund is not used for expenses incurred
for searches or training conducted by Midwest Search Dogs.
